Our founder, Isabel, discovered her love of interacting and spending time with the senior community through her own relationship with her grandpa. Witnessing him struggle through medical hardships and eventually dementia sparked her desire to support all seniors, especially those in senior living communities who are most prone to feelings of loneliness, and bring them the solace of companionship, just as she did for her grandpa. So, she decided to create a unique "grandpal" volunteer program with a few of her friends! Through G2G, she and her team hope that they can provide both seniors and high schoolers with valuable memories and irreplaceable connections.
